Pre-Qualifications
Minimum Age
  • Must be 21 years of age with a valid Class A CDL
Minimum Experience (tractor Trailer/OTR)
  • 1 year OTR verifiable experience in the last 3 years
  • Will consider a driver at 6 months with a Special Consideration

* They WILL NOT consider a Driver that hasn’t driven in the past 3 months or more

* Training time does not count

Moving Violations (max in 3 year period)
  • No more than 3 in the past 3 years

* If any more than this, Arnold can do an Special Consideration

  • No more than 2 in the past 12 months

* If any more than this, Arnold can do an Special Consideration

  • No careless/reckless in the last 3 years

  • No following too close in the past 3 years

  • Will review
Accidents
  • No more than 3 preventable accidents in the past 3 years
  • No preventable fatality accident or head on collision in the past 7 years

  • No preventable rollovers in the past 3 years

  • No preventable rear-end in the past 3 years

  • Any accident DOT Recordable accident requires safety approval

  • No more than 3 in less than 3 years

* Unless the driver lives within 50 miles of the Grand Prairie Yard or the Houston Yard, the driver will be taking their truck home.
