Minimum Age

  • At least 21 years of age

Minimum Experience (tractor Trailer/OTR)

  • 6 months in the last year of OTR/Regional experience  with  Tractor-trailer with a trailer of 40’ of more. 

  • 12 months in the last 3 years of OTR/Regional experience with Tractor-trailer with a trailer of 40’ of more. (upon review)

  • 3 years in the last 10 years of OTR/Regional experience with Tractor-trailer with a trailer of 40’ of more. (upon review)

  • Memphis Drivers MUST have 2 years in the past 3 years of OTR/Regional experience  with  Tractor-trailer with a trailer of 40’ of more.

* MUST be combination CMV with minimum 40 foot trailer

* Will count Local, Regional or OTR experience

* Oil Field, school or driving on private roads does not count towards experience

* Military experience is verified at 50%

* Must have a current valid Class A CDL, not licensed in a monopolistic state (ND, OH, WA, WY, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands)

Moving Violations (max in 3 year period)

  • No more than 3 in the past 3 years in any vehicle

Policy on License suspensions

  • No multiple license suspensions, downgrades, withdrawals in the last 3 years.

DOT Recordable Accidents

  • If only 6 months of experience, no accidents.

  • No preventable fatality within the last 3 years

  • No rear-end over 30 mph, rollover or head on collision accidents within the past 3 years

* All DOT Recordable Accidents in the past 3 years require review - Please try and get accident report

Incidents (max in 3 year period)

  • No more than 3 incidents in the last 3 years.

  • If only 6 months of experience, no incidents or accidents.

Maximum Major Moving Violation (in the last 3 years)

None of the following;

  • Careless or reckless driving in previous 3 years

  • Cell phone violations in the previous 3 years

  • Violating State or local law relating to motor vehicle traffic control (other than a parking violation) arising in connection with a fatal accident

  • Driving a CMV without a CDL or CLP

  • Driving a CMV without the proper class of CLP or CDL and/or endorsements for the specific vehicle group being operated or for the passengers or type of cargo being transported

  • Violations concerning railroad crossings while driving a CMV

* No speeding 15 mph or more over posted speed limit in the last year in any vehicle.

  • Current probations require a letter clearing driver for interstate commerce.

  • No felonies in the last year or in a CMV in a lifetime

  • No multiple felonies related to drug trafficking, human trafficking, or smuggling in the last 3 years

  • No sexual offenses or offenses involving harm to a minor. 

  • Multiple Misdemeanors, Bond Forfeitures, Fine Payment Plans, Probations, and Multiple Deferrals in the last 5 years require approval by supervisor.

  • No multiple prior misdemeanors and felonies in a lifetime

  • No drug or alcohol and motor vehicle violations in any vehicle in the last 3 years

  • Driver must have a valid DOT Physical before going to orientation w/ at least 3 months remaining on current medical card

  • MVT MUST have a copy of the Long Form Physical, Medical Card and CDL-A

  • No older than 2.5 years

Is truck permanently assigned to the driver?

  • Yes

  • As long as drivers take 2 days max of home time. Slip seating for casuals, or any Drivers that prefer it

  • Misuse of home time can result in loss of assigned truck

Truck Speed

  • 64 MPH on the beginning but can go up to 72 MPH depending on MPG's

Can truck be taken home for time off?

  • Only drivers that live in regions with no terminal may take truck home for home time

  • Must leave truck at the nearest terminal (El Paso or Nashville) when taking vacations or extended time off

Is truck equipped with Invertors / APU's?

  • No Inverters - Electric APU has power strips

  • Invertors provided by drivers must be installed by the shop ($35)

Average Miles per wk. 

  • OTR - 6000 miles per week

Division 400 & 410 Only

  • Casual Drivers

    • Minimum 4-6 consecutive days every 30 days

    • No limit on number of days to run each month

    • Slip seat, must clean out truck after each run

    • Pay and incentives same as above

    • Ability to run 410 and 400 freight

    • Live within 150 miles of Nashville

    • Start and stop in Nashville, no taking truck home

Rider Policy

  • Yes, starts 1st day, and is $150.00 a year

  • Rider has to be over 12 years of age 

  • Cost: $15.00 per month, or $150.00 yearly

Pet Policy

  • Yes with a $500 non-refundable fee

  • 5 payments of $100.00

  • Cats ARE allowed

  • Multiple pets - case by case. (Fee is increased ex. 2 pets would be $1000, 5 payments of $200)

Is there 24 hour dispatch?

  • All fuel stops, and routes will be sent when you are dispatched

Nashville, TN

  • Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday ( cut off for Wednesday is 10 am)

  • 3 days in total

  • $1000.00 in their first paycheck

El Paso, TX

  • Monday and Tuesday

  • 3 days in total

  • $1000.00 in their first paycheck

Laredo, TX

  • Monday and Tuesday

  • 3 days in total

  • $1000.00 in their first paycheck


** Drivers will be sent to the closest orientation to them. We do not offer rental cars but will reimburse them for whatever the bus ticket would be if they decide to get one on their own ( paid out on there first paycheck)

* Double Occupancy - unless driver requests single room and agrees to pay half the room fee up front. (cannot be deducted from first paycheck).

Meals Provided (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

  • Breakfast and Lunch are provided

  • Dinner is on the driver

Travel Provided (Bus / Plane /Car Rental)

  • Bus (9-12 hours)

  • Plane (if bus travel is too long)

  • Driver can drive in and we will reimburse the amount the bus ticket would have been

Insurance Starts When?

  • 60 days, paid per pay period (weekly). Refer to driver benefits package on Information Sheet for more info
