Pre-Qualifications

Minimum Age

  • At least 21 years old

Minimum Experience (tractor Trailer/OTR)

  • Must have at least 1 year commercial driving experience in a comparable class of vehicle

  • Wells Service Division may qualify w/ 6 months continuous Tanker experience

  • Must have CDL in the state of residence

* Local experience is not counted.

OTR Defined: 2-3 states logs/sleepers, stay out overnight for at least 2 nights.

Moving Violations (max in 3 year period)

  • No more than 1 in the past year

  • No more than 3 in the past 3 years

  • No convictions for careless or reckless driving in the past 5 years

  • In the past 3 years, cannot have a ticket for operating a motor vehicle without the permission of the owner or fleeing or eluding a police officer

Policy on License suspensions

  • None in the last 3 years *

  • No more than 2 in the past 10 years *

  • No convictions for driving with a suspended license in the past 3 years

  • No convictions in the past year for driving with an expired license
