Dependable Highway Express Pay Range is .40 to .52 CPM Based on Experience and Type of Run

Minimum Age

  • At least 23 years of age

Minimum Experience (tractor Trailer/OTR)

  • At least 6 months in the past 2 years

* Local experience will count if the Driver is applying for a local position ONLY

* Will consider Military Experience with DD-214 showing 88M credential

Moving Violations (max in 3 year period)

  • No more than 3 in the past 3 years

Policy on License suspensions

  • Will review

DOT Recordable Accidents

  • No preventable in the last 5 years

  • Will review non preventable accidents

Incidents (max in 3 year period)

  • Will review

Ticket / Accident / Incident Combo

  • Will review

Maximum Major Moving Violation (in the last 3 years)

  • None in the past 3 years

Major Moving Violations- that are automatic DQ's

  • Careless

  • Reckless

  • Lane change resulting in accident

Max. Number of Jobs- in the last 3 years

  • No more than 5 jobs in the past 3 years

  • Drivers that have more than 2 employers in the last 12 months will most likely be declined unless the previous 24 months shows less than 4 employers.

*** A good candidate will be one who left previous jobs in good standing after serving and average of 6 months at each job for the last 3 years.

Policy Against Unemployment- even if it is accounted for

  • Local P&D – Prefer to bring in drivers with at least Tankers and Doubles. Hazmat can be picked up later within 60 days

  • Linehaul – Hazmat, Tanker and Doubles are required to start 

  • Harbor - TWIC required & Hazmat encouraged, but not required

DOT Physical Requirements

  • Drivers will take a DOT Physical before Orientation.

  • If Driver has received a DOT Physical within the past 30 days at an approved office, they will not need to take one.

Drug Screening

  • The second day will be spent with regional ops managers in Ontario, CA. 

  • At the end of the 2nd day, new hires will be placed with a trainer for a 3 day ride along before being issued a truck.

  • They will all take home time and park their trucks at their home terminal, wherever that may be.
